Fictional storytelling

Fictional storytelling describes the ways in which many groups, individuals, and organizations featured in this project use the maker practice of fictional storytelling. Some create their own narratives of hypothetical situations or possible futures that are based on present-day facts. Others use existing fictional worlds, such as the Harry Potter universe or popular superhero comics characters, as a frame within which they can build community and frame civic issues in a relateable way.
