Literacy

Literacy is used here as a broad term that includes knowledge and skill acquisition and sharing, as well as understanding and being able to effectively use communication tools, such as language, images, gestures, or media and technology. Learning, teaching, and the development of literacies takes place in formal and informal learning contexts and happens individually and in groups.
