Courage Campaign

Courage Campaign fights for a more progressive California and country. We are an online community powered by more than 850,000 members. Courage Campaign Institute is the educational arm of the Courage Campaign family of organizations. Our mission is to defend and extend human rights through innovative leadership-development training, strategic research and public-education.

The Courage Campaign is involved with a variety of issues important to California and its citizens. During the 2008 election, Courage Campaign played a sizable role in the No on 8 campaign. Among the efforts they contributed was a satirical ad that critiqued the Mormon church's involvement in the Prop 8 case in favor of taking away same-sex marriage rights. See the video on the right. A second satirical ad critiques the role of government in gender policing and assessing who is allowed to get married.
