During the 2008 election, Yes on 8 released a television ad depicting a young girl coming home to tell her mother that she learned about same-sex marriage and that she wants to now marry a princess. The fear tactics (using children as victims of a gay agenda) and deliberate misinformation was the butt of several parody ads that poured in online.
