This can mean tactics like identifying and accessing the appropriate levers of change or providing mechanisms of translation for youth passionate about popular culture. Influencing policy is a more traditional activist goal than some of the other participatory political practices highlighted here, but, particularly for youth or marginalized populations, it is not always the safest option.
